Crush Cosmetics Package!

Best feeling ever when the postman comes with a little package full of makeup for meee!!
This week I received my package from Crush Cosmetics, the products that I bought are pretty random but theyre just little things that I have always wanted to try :)

Firstly, I bought some new brushes:
Top to bottom: Coastal Scents blending brush, elf crease brush, elf bronzing brush.

I havent actually tried the brushes yet, but for their low low prices, they seem to be of high quality!

Next, I bought a Sleek blush:
 Sleek Blush in Flushed

I love this blush!!!! It is the darkest blush Ive ever had before and was a bit scared when I first tried it, but its lovely! Like its name, It makes my cheeks look flushed with natural colour and you definitely do not need much on your brush to get a good colour. Ive heard alot about Sleek products so was excited to finally try something of theirs and it didnt disappoint!

Next is just a bunch of random products:
top to bottom: NYX soft matte lip creme in addis ababa, NYX jumbo eye pencils in Milk and Purple, beautyuk eye shadow collection in number 4.

I LOVE THE NYX SOFT MATTE CREME! I used it with a lip liner and allowed it to dry on my lips before eating/drinking and it stayed put for a good couple of hours! It does require touch ups and by the end of the night my lips did look a bit chapped but that happens with any lipstick I use.
The NYX jumbo eye pencils are amazing, great colour payoff and Milk is also great as a base for eyeshadows to make them pop :)
The beautyuk eyeshadow palette is also really good for its price and has a great colour payoff.

Here is a picture of me using the eyeshadow palette, NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk and NYX addis ababa:

Ive ordered a couple of MAC eyeshadows this week, Mineralism and Naked Lunch :)
Addicted to online shopping!! <3

Lipstick Love

I've been going a bit lipstick crazy recently, particularly with these two covergirl lipsticks:
They are both vibrant colours, one a hot cherry red (305 hot passion) and the other a rich purple (340 entwined enlaces). I picked them up for around $15 each at Target a while ago and have been surprisingly happy with the quality of the lipsticks! They are not the longest lasting lipsticks but with a lipliner they do last up to a few hours (without eating!).

Now that its nearly winter here in Australia Im really getting into the darker lipstick colours available, and more orangey shades instead of pinks. Ive always thought that red lipsticks washed me out but this colour works great with my skin tone.
Here are a couple of photos of me wearing the lipsticks:

I have to add that they are really moisturizing as well, which I wasn't expecting! They can both be used for a light or heavy colour, especially the purple one :)
All round loveeeeeeeeee <3

new love: maybelline colorsensational / new hate: Australian price of Revlon lip butters!

I went into Target today to pick up some Revlon Lip Butters to find that they were selling them for about $22! What a rip! Im sure I went to David Jones a month ago and saw them retailing for about $17 so Im guessing Revlon/Target have decided to cash in on their success :( boo!

Anyways, never mind because I did find something I could afford and have ended up loving :)
Maybelline Colorsensational lipsticks! All of the colours were beautiful but I decided to go with what seemed to be the least popular (there were many in stock) Mango Diamonds 445.

I love the smell of the lipstick, its sweet and tangy but doesnt have a taste. Its super glossy on the lips which is great as I get really dry lips and I can just pop this on and not worry about having any balm underneath to stop any chapping :)
Its quite pigmented, but the colour does look a bit different on the lips (excuse the eye makeup :D) :

But I love the natural colour, my lips are very red naturally so its good to have a nice pinky/orange lip.
From other reviews, people dont like the packaging!! I think its so pretty and its really easy to find in your handbag/makeup case. And it has entertained me for a good few minutes, checking out what it looks like in different lights haha (loser!!).

Come to think of it, I have swapped a few of my revlon products to maybelline recentley. I use the maybelline black kohl eyeliner instead of the revlon one now due to the revlon one being so HARD!! It hurt my eyelids and took a while to apply (im guessing it had to warm up first.. lame!!)

Rekindled Love

So I went to visit my lovely mum the other day and went into my old room. As I was looking through my shelves and saw this bright blue nail polish and I realised it was my barry m nail polish I bought while in the UK in 2010!
Its in the colour Cyan Blue and I love it! I remember using it while in the UK and thinking that it was of poor quality, so when I used it this week I didnt expect it to last long. But I was so wrong!! Even though I work in a job where I am constantly washing my hands the nail polish didnt begin to chip until around three days.
Ive only applied one coat and the colour is so vibrant.

I didnt realise how awesome the colour was until I started receiving compliments, I didnt think anyone would notice to be honest!
The only thing I regret now is not having bought more :(

final glossybox australia!

Just a little bit sad that I wont be opening another glossybox while living in Australia! Heres what I got this month:

1. YSL forever youth liberator deluxe serum : Im so excited to try this! I love YSL products and Ive wanted  to try a serum for a while now, but Im kinda hoping Its not so great as it costs $120 for 30mls!!

2. Jurlique intense recovery mask: I havent had the best experiences with face masks which Ive got in previous glossyboxes, they tend to make me breakout. So hopefully I will enjoy this one :)

3. Lapurete protective day creme with UVA defense: I loovee receiving face cremes and so far every sample Ive been given has been great!! I might include a few in future reviews as I probably will end up purchasing more!

4. Everescence organic hair care organic moroccan argan oil: YES!!!!!!!!! I love hair serums, and since dying my hair red I feel like my hair actually soaks up the goodness whereas previously when blonde they just left my hair greasy.

5. Nivea express hydration body lotion: This is the second nivea body lotion sample Ive received from glossybox, and from reading other reviews, this makes people upset! Personally I love the sample size bottles they fit in my handbag and with a steady hand you can refill them. Now that I have two one can stay in my handbag and the other in my car :)

Even though I am sad that there will be no more glossyboxes arriving, Im excited to see what the new company, lust have it, has in store for us! Hopefully will receive more makeup samples as I am running out of space to fit skin care!
